The 3 Paths on the Oaks Rising Freedom Journey
As you journey down these spirit-led transformation paths you’ll discover multitudes of hidden treasure. Together as sons & daughters of God you’ll participate with God as He reveals more and more of the gold and gems that He’s placed inside of you and others. You certainly don’t have to wait until you get to Heaven to operate and synchronize to the Kingdom of God. “Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven” – Matthew 6:10. When it is well with the core of our soul then it is well in every other place. “Delight and truth in the inward being” to be taught “wisdom in the secret heart.” – Psalm 51:6.
Oaks Rising is a Spirit-led discipleship and freedom process that was birthed out of the desire and hunger from hundreds of people who were set free and were left WANTING MORE! “A world filled with authentic believers who’ve been set free and whose fruit is multiplied to reveal the splendor of the Lord”.
Once we surrender all and invite Jesus to the center of every place…even back to the moment we were first conceived…where we were knitted in our mothers womb…His light transforms every place we invite Him into. To discover more about a Freedom Session click here.
Just Handle It
Freedom comes when we intentionally choose to handle the places within our soul that cause us hurt and pain and that keep us from living as the spotless bride of Christ. Ephesians 5:25-27 NLT says that Christ loved the church so much that “…He gave up his life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word. He did this to present her to himself as a glorious church without a spot or wrinkle or any other blemish. Instead, she will be holy and without fault.” Freedom means fully accepting that Jesus has made a way for us to be made spotless or it would not be written! These spots are places in the soul that we have not yet surrendered consciously or unconsciously. Without Christ given control of these places, scripture clearly tells us we can be double minded and unstable in all our ways. These strongholds, places and spots in us give up ground to the enemy of our soul who can then accuse, lie, intimidate, insinuate, manipulate, bully, torment, condemn, shame and humiliate us. It is up to us to mature and be responsible by opening the door to the places inside us that have spots and blemishes – there is no shame – just handle it!
In our experience, we have found that freedom occurs more quickly when the Holy Spirit is given full control to heal and renew the soul. When we invite Jesus to be our Lord and Savior our spirit is made into a new creation but our soul needs to be transformed by the renewal of our mind (Romans 12:2). True maturity means we are to hold firm to the truth in love, growing up “into” Christ in every way. For it is through Christ our head that the whole body, is knit together, functions and grows to its full maturity in love. (Ephesians 4:14-16). A Freedom Session can help facilitate this maturity and renewal.
Live Free on the Discipleship Path
The transformation process of living free is about dying to self so that you may live out loud from the cry of your heart, “Lord, deliver me from me, so the real me can break free”. It is a daily choice of submitting to everything necessary for the metamorphosis of old things to give way for the birthing of something brand new. It is a process not an event…a lifelong journey here on earth where you fulfill the call as a citizen of heaven while living here on earth in this foreign land! Living as a new creation requires discipline to obey God and submitting yourself to be spirit-led moment by moment. It means turning away from the religious systems, external pressures, rules, performance and sin management so there is less of self and more rest through surrender.
Living a life of freedom extends to learning how to keep your love on through helping to create a safe community. A transformed marriage, home, church or workplace happens when people take responsibility for their own feelings. Blame and offense get replaced by love and compassion. Everyone becomes known by their kingdom identity as sons and daughters of God. In a healed community mistakes are ok – failures occur – and through it all there’s a trust that Jesus will carry everybody through to wholeness. As the bride of Christ we must stop seeing each other as the enemy sees us. A healed & transformed community can happen when the people in it choose to keep their eyes on Jesus and stop running away from their pain. As part of the body of Christ we must learn how to view people through the eyes of Jesus and stay planted unless God sends us elsewhere. Instead of running away from our pain, hurts and fears we must allow the suffering from the struggles to make us more compassionate so that we have more heavenly influence, power, authority and anointing here on earth. We must choose to trust God more and allow the pain we experience as part of community to refine us and make us more like Him.
